As Google street view’s outreach expands, more and more places are getting mapped into a database that allows viewers to experience a world that’s out of reach. COVID has pushed us back indoors, and Google street view shows us the possibilities of tomorrow: a world that we once knew. 

Technology permits us to get a 360 degree view at any given location, so it puts the viewer directly into the space photographed. Through our work in mapping the city, we have brought the city to you during a time of isolation, where the city that never sleeps is at a standstill. Also, the nature of Google Street View allows the photographer to walk around with the camera, making it for a more dynamic form of photography.

Customers are more inclined to visit a location they’ve already seen, so Google street view gives viewers the capability to see where they’re heading to.
