Get Your Website Ready For the Holiday Season

This year, shopping trends have dramatically changed. 47% of shoppers have chosen not to participate in major shopping holidays - such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. With total retail sales amounting to $730.2 billion last year, many retailers are looking to generate the sales they received last year. Although we’ve noticed a downturn in shopping turnout this year, there are some things that we can expect this year that will enhance shopping experiences for customers and bring in sales for retailers.

This year, trends have shown that shoppers are getting a head start to their holiday gifting, showing up to brick and mortar locations while also engaging with online store fronts earlier than expected. Shopping early isn’t just about convenience for the 46% of shoppers looking to shop early, it's primarily about safety. By avoiding large groups of people later on in the holiday season, shoppers are avoiding COVID. Online shopping rates have also gone up dramatically since the beginning of COVID. Election day fear also forces people to turn to online storefronts as well.Ā

With this in mind, retailers can use this to their advantage. By beginning your business’s holiday marketing earlier, it will attract more customers your way. Also, building and maintaining your online interface and presence will increase traffic to your business. By taking the extra step to ensure your website has meaningful and outstanding imagery that will attract customers who are beginning to shop for the holiday season. With millions of businesses competing for a spot at the top of the search engine pyramid, photography is one way your products will stand out from the rest.

Photography is one way your business can showcase your products in professionally stunning ways. Jeffrey Rosenberg Photography has experience working with businesses to deliver proper results for their online marketing - in both product shoots for websites and social media. Ā
