When you prepare for a corporate headshot shooting, some questions might come to mind. Therefore, we are going to list some common questions that many people may have.

Can you remove my wrinkles and laughter lines

We can never really escape the aging process, but we as photographers can help you reduce the visible signs. Generally, we use a soft wrap-around lighting which helps naturally smooth lines. We do have another not-so-secret weapon called “Photo-shopping”. Although we never remove lines completely as it would look too fake, we can help to reduce them further if you feel the need. Spots, on the other hand, seem to have a strange habit of appearing on the morning of your photo shoot. Don't panic though! They can be easily zapped out of an image with no problem at all.

Can I Wear Glasses While Taking Photo?

Wearing glasses can cause problems with reflection and refraction. Sometimes a photographer will ask you to remove your glasses so that we can shoot some headshots with and some without the reflection. Afterward, we will carefully composite the two.

Can I wear jewelry?

I always prefer a headshot with no jewelry at all, but something small and classic or a not very reflective or flashy are fine. Earrings shouldn’t dangle more than an inch from your earlobe. If I notice your jewelry before I notice your face, I may ask you to remove it.

Will a headshot shooting take a long time?

Generally, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to set up for an on-site shooting. After, it normally takes 5 to 10 minutes for each person to shoot a headshot.
